AMY GOODE

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Amy Goode is a Kingsport, Tennessee native who has lived in Nashville since 2008. Prior to her work at the Leadership Tennessee, she worked for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, where she ran YP Nashville, driving young professional initiatives across Middle Tennessee. With a career crossing several industries, Amy’s work includes experience in nonprofits, education, workforce development, and state government. 

In her work as the Community Engagement Manager, she uses her skills in communications and coalition building to direct Leadership Tennessee Next and to support the Signature Program. A graduate of Lipscomb University with her Master’s in Leadership and Public Service and graduate certificate in Conflict Management, Amy is a cheerleader for utilizing cross-sector collaboration to cultivate community growth and prosperity. 

As an avid college football fan, she spends many fall Saturdays in Knoxville cheering on the Vols. Outside of football season, Amy can be found on the ski slopes, gardening, or hosting friends for weekly dinner parties with her husband, Crockett.
